On Friday 10th November the GCSE Occupational Studies (Logistics & Transport) class  from St Malachy's High School visited Warrenpoint Harbour Authority and Tesco’s Supermarket, Newry as part of their GCSE studies.

This was a fantastic opportunity to learn about careers in Logistics and students were able to complete coursework tasks relating to the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. We are extremely grateful to the Management of WHA - Mr Peter Conway (CEO) and Mr Ciaran Cunningham (Engineering & Estates Director WHA) for their time and accommodation of the visit and to Tesco’s Newry for an insight into their dotcom business. The students are pictured with their teacher Mr Keith Faloon.
